Hey all. Been lurking and reading a bit. I just got back into it after taking too long of a break from serious playing. I sold a few items from my gun safe and I had an urge to buy an American made guitar with my new found cash. Ended up with an 02 American standard strat. Olympic white with maple fretboard. Picked up a hot rod deville amp just for the hell of it too.
After I had it set up by a luthier here in town my strat plays like a dream. Ive never had a guitar fit me so well. Dont know if it is the guitar itself or this guy did some magic to it but Ive been playing for hours every day. I have a 15 year old son that plays bass and a 12 year old son on the drums. I guess you can say I literally made my own band. :lol:
I listen so everything from punk and metal to ska, raggae, rockabilly, surf, country and blues and just about everything but mexican music. :lol:

Welcome to the forum turrican, sounds like you picked up a decent rig for yourself :wink: You're from AZ? You have a new rock & roll cafe/restaurant opening there soon 8) I hear it's a very Fender orientated place :D

Hey guys thanks for the welcome. I was suprised to see so many so quick! Seems like a great bunch of people here.
I am in East Mesa (Gods Country LOL) for those AZ guys here
I havent heard of a Fender oriented place opening soon but I will start looking out for some info on it starting now.
Love your sig line cviella! Im a big 2nd amendment guy too.

Here is my set up, had the Marshall previously but it doesnt sound near as good as the Deville to my ears
