I just want to say that the Fender.com community is the greatest i've been in. The people on the forum are cool and understanding, not to mention helpful.

Recently, we've had a few spats about a couple of posts that have been locked. I have to say that i agree with Brad on that. It's sad that arguments start so easily when discussing religion or politics, but it does happen, so Brad was right in locking them. I may have been an accessory to the 9/11 post being locked, and i apologize, but it most likely would have been anyway.

Rileytheguitarist, you should stay on the forum. Don't let a couple of locked posts get you down. It wasn't because you were voicing your opinion, but because Brad doesn't want arguments to start on this wonderful forum. There's probably nothing wrong with the occasional spat, but i've seen posts get out of control and several members leave the forum because of it.

So why don't we all just pick up our guitars and continue to talk about music and anything else in our lives? This is a great community that i am glad to be a part of. That's all i really needed to say. Now let's get back to having some fun :D

-Jake :P

I agree. Great Forum. Also agree that a couple locked posts should not run somebody off. Just some things should be discussed due to the nature of the topics and the polarizing opinions of people.

I-LOVE-YOU-ALL...sniff....sniff...you guys are the greatest thing since my wife let me use the computer again....sniff....(pause to wipe tears).....  8) ......but seriously this is the best guitar community alive....when you have guys like Master Builder Ceri :) NikkiNinja and the now defunct VinnyPop and crew your bound to have FUN...plus Brad is really cool with stuff posted...I guess I am guilty for starting the Haiti thread BUT it was going so well......well until it became a target for certain individualistic individuals who decided that I can't try to save the world from an online guitar forum thread  anyhoo.....This is like a guitar version of cheers to me......:D 8) Hey Ceri...how did the beer song go again?

This is the only forum I have really posted on. Everything else just seems to be one big pissing contest.

I belong to a few that are good.

Some are locked up so you have to know a member to join, those are great.

Others, as this one, are well kept by those diligent admins who always find a way to smooth things out. 8)
