Just wondering if there are any fans of the Tommy Castro Band here, other than myself.

Tommy Castro is fabulous!!!!!! His band is from this part of California. I have yet to see him play live, but it will happen soon.

I've lost count on how many times I've seen him. You've got to see him at least once. They're coming here in Jan. 08. Tommy's a nice guy, Keith kicks butt on sax, the new drummer Chris is amazing. There's plenty of gigs in Ca. from 11/21/07 to 1/11/08. Hope you get to catch one of them. 8)

Unforunately the bassist has left the band after many years. Randy, I wish you success! Thanks for the music. 8)

Taking Care of Business. I liked Bachman Turner Overdrive. Well, 35 years ago I did.

I changed the title so it wouldn't be confusing.

Tommy gigs around here all the time (Monterey Bay area). He's really a pro, great player and singer, rocks dem blues hard, an undiscovered gem who hasn't quite broken through nationally yet. Definitely give his tunes a listen if you like modern rock/blues.

I found Tommy on my satalite radio playing "me and my guitar" and have been collecting his music since, his music is simple fun blues and he seems to have a great time bringing it to the people.

I first saw Tommy at a Blues festival in South Florida though he's more of a Soul Blues player. I was just 15 ft away from him in the front row. Love his tone on "Can't Keep a Good Man Down". It must come from his Vibro-King because the only stomp box he had that night was a tuner.

Hell yeah! Tommy is too cool...

His Live at the Fillmore CD/DVD is essential listening and watching...

And his interviewwith GuitarOne is excellent.
