I really really really want an Esprit Elite...I had one in 88 and sold it for some p.a. gear I had to have...stupid stupid me...CAN ANYONE talk the guys in the big office into re-introducing it? Or just find me a good used one. PLEASE>>>>

I think there's lots of us as would be interested to see a return of the Esprit, especially with Fender written on the headstock - though I'd settle for a Squier also if it had a 'burst finish with nice grain. A much missed model.

BTW: I wondered whether your post might be about a different kind of Esprit. Many, many years ago I once had the honor of test driving one of these:


0 - 60 in 3.4, 0 - 90 in second gear... and Julia Roberts was right: it does corner on rails. I came this close to mortgaging everything I owned to buy it...

They pop up on ebay and they are not cheap. Funny thing is I really dont remember this when it came out and wonder why it died so fast as I would love to play one.

no Ceri I am talkin bout the guitar....I have regretted letting it go since the day I sold it...and have been looking to replace it for many years...I believe I paid about 500.00 for it in the late 80's...now they're going for like 2 grand.
