Right now I’m skimming the lot of unread books that I’ve purchased, inherited, and collected over the years. Time to pass them on, except for the ones that will remain in my collection. My problem is that they are mostly non-fiction and many can be of referential interest. My advantage is that much of this is now available online. Aw, let’s face it. I’m a bookaholic or a hoarder of books. I need help, but I’m working on it. :P
And yes Bubba, there was a time before iPad. :P

All guitar and car mags are collectable and hordable. That’s why they build more than one room in a house.

Went for breakfast with a friend today who did audio for me 32 years ago. He gave me a cool book (full of pictures and documentation) that might be of interest.

"Vintage Guitar" magazine. They had an article in there about the Fender Custom Shop. That would be nice to have some coin to have something built by them, I think.

I wonder, if we chopped down the wood and sent it to them with a note, if they would give us a discount?

I’m know. I’m twisted. Not much chance in me straightening out now. :P

Hey, that would work for me. I need to get an ax or chainsaw first. :P

Great! We could team up. You get the alder or ash and I’ll get the Canadian maple. Before ya know it we’ll have us an axe. P

I have just finished reading 'Do androids dream of Electric Sheep?', a science-fiction novel by Philip K. Dick. The novel is set in a post apocalyptic dystopian future, where Earth and its populations have been damaged greatly by nuclear war and most of the animal species have either been wiped out or become endangered. The novel explores the issue of what it is to be human and has also served as the basis for 1982 movie "Blade Runner". I recommed it to every sci-fi lover as it is a classic in its genre.

I'm reading another issue of "Bass Player" magazine. Gear magazines are about the extent to which I read anything in print these days. I still prefer those than reading the digital versions. I think it would be the same if I were to actually read a novel again.
