Has anyone tried this online jamming and if so, what's it like?

Oh. I thought this was going to be a thread where we all post pictures of Nikininja in his PJs.

How disappointing.

Cheers - C

PS No, I haven't tried Ninjamer yet. ...Shouldn't that be Ninjammer?

Haven't tried it at all. How would it work cos I assume there would be some delay?

I dont think it was ninjams but I tried something similar about a year ago and the latency was terrible. It was pretty much unusable.

A friend sent me the link and said he's been using it and it works well.

After seeing this, maybe a translator might be necessary?

Here we go! This sounds like fun! I was just talking to my friend (locally) who was looking at and talking to his web desingner, WHO IS IN JAPAN! Through their computers, (and I think one of them was even a Mac  ), they could see each other and talk to each other. Oh, and it was FREE!

Amazing shite, this here technology stuff!!

Let's jam!

Gridlok

Born free, free as the wind blows.

If you want photos of that, I'm not shy but there would have to be some kind of bidding system in place. I'm in demand yknow. :D

(and then I woke up)

I like the idea of this, I think your better off with like a file sharing project. Similar to some of your stuff Mike. Where you record, send, someone adds, sends it on. I've found a really good jam night, really good muso's. But so much of it is visual at times.

When I practiced wing chun chuan we tried to follow the old chinese practice of rooftop sparring. Not good I can tell you.

Never mind getting a whack off your partner, falling off was always my downfall. It may work well in Fatshan. Alas it doesnt travel well to Smethwick.

Corny jokes over now.
