I was so angry when I first heard about 9/11 attacks. +3000 lives, thats a lot. i was so bloody pissed off, and sad and thought, "What type of world do we live in, seriously....". My parents told me about it at the age of 11, 07. I watched the footage on youtube, very disturbing at the time. Those inocent lives, all gone cause of some little c%#k called osama bin laden.

RIP 9/11 victims, I feel for you.

i was in fourth grade when that happened, and our class watched it all unfold on tv. when the second plane hit, i remember thinking, "this isn't an accident"

if you ask me, we should still be in this war. i think we're doing the world a service by trying to get rid of Al Qaida. if only we had help from more nations to rid the world of these people, we could deal jihadist terrorism a huge blow, ultimately knocking it out, hopefully for good.

RIP to the people caught in the towers, and the people in the pentagon and in the jets used as weapons. you deserve to be remembered.

I'll put 10 quid on Brad locking this.

R.I.P. indeed. It is a day the world will take a long time to get over and a day I will never come to terms with.

But this will start a disagreement that will escalate because of the passion people feel. Thats why there are strict rules on anything to do with politics, religion and subjects associated.

This will and should be locked IMO.

Yeah it hit me and my family pretty hard too. I remember getting ready for school, I was in the 6th grade. We also watched it in class and had a moment of silence afterwards. It hit home pretty hard not only for the tremendous amount of people that died but the 343 Firefighters that died. I come from a family of firefighters and i am currently in the process of becoming one. It was either one or two years after the aftermath my dad's dept went to ground zero and particiated in the memorial ceremony. Something I will never forget. Something we wil never forget.

As a moderator, there's simply no winning with a thread like this -- some folks want the thread gone, and others are going to criticize me for locking it because I'm blocking "free speech" and start an equally-driven discourse on same. It must go, though, as several have already reported it.
