It's that time of the year when all good little Girl Scouts become entrepreneurs and tackle people walking by their tables full of cookies. Mothers hover nearby, keeping a watchful eye on their brood, making sure they don't pocket the proceeds. Not being able to resist those annual offerings, I bought 5 boxes (2 Samoas for me, 2 Tagalongs and 1 Thin Mint for Michael) through one of their sales representatives (her mom).
Interestingly, Samoas are probably one of the few food items that actually look like the photo on the box...here is proof of that.

Somoas! The best GS cookie for sure.

My favorite non-GS cookie is Oatmeal-Raisin.

And ANOTHER DITTO: Thin Mints in the freezer!

Glad you posted about it being Girl Scout Cookie Selling Time. As a former Girl Scout, I feel it is my duty to honor the code of cookie sales for the betterment of Girl Scouts across our land.....yipee....some years I totally miss the cookie sale !
I shall buy several boxes and share w/co workers :)

Yep, Thin Mints do rock. I love the Do-Si-Dos peanut butter sandwich cookies and the Tagalongs, too. Mmmm. I am ready to be tackled. :)

Hah! My daughter is 6 and she joined Girl Guides this fall. Within a week we were on the cookie trail and it was so funny. We only had the thin mints to sell and people were either annoyed by the fact that we were selling them or they were thanking us like we brought home a long lost relative. It was like walking around with John Mayer. Some people want to punch you and others think you're the coolest.
