Tip to the winner. Take the bass strings. 12 sets of those takes a lot more scratch than guitar strings.

Count me in,with 24 babies to maintain stringing them can be costly.

I'm in! Glad someone int'l won something otherwise we would never here the end of it.

Enter the contest anyway (maybe they won't notice)or get someone in the US to enter for you.

What are the odds of winning anything anyway? This is just for fun :)

Ah cmon Mustang. Ive long been aware of business's being limited by national law. I wouldnt have been moaning had you or any other US citizen won. It's not fenders fault they have to jump through hoops. God knows what Marshall would have to do. Note they dont offer competitions on a yearly basis.
Just the luck of the draw and I was 2nd choice anyway. Mike Eldred won it before me.

What are the odds of winning? I wasnt even aware I'd entered.

Smiling politely and wondering how'd I get so lucky (all day now).

I'm glad you won it. I had a couple of int'l favorites I'd like to see win (you are one of them). So I hope this is the beginning of more giveaways for everyone. Even if it's a guitar strap or a mug. It's all good fun.

Jeff00 is a heavy poster too so I'm glad he won. Not sure where he is from.

Enjoy guys. Those are some very cool prizes!

Thanks Brad! I'm in! :)

I'm a real strings geek and will drive an extra 15 miles (one way) to get a set of good strings if the closer music store has a weak selection.

Thank you Brad! I hope I entered the strings contest, when I clicked to update the Fender e-mail profile I went to the J. Mascis contest page and updated, then again maybe I just entered both contests, that is cool too. Thanks again Brad!

I just entered the giveaway, this is another great competition to be involved in. Either way, I'll be checking these new strings out sometime soon.

Are the new Fender strings on currently shipping guitars? I bought an American Special Strat Friday and the strings sound and feel great! I usually swap the factory strings for Ernie Balls or DRs but this set is staying until they wear out.
