Gang: do yourself a favor and enter for a chance to win a year's supply of our new Fender strings by clicking here. This giveaway is a bit 'off the radar' thus far, so the chances of winning are currently pretty darned good!

The strings themselves are actually pretty killer too -- forget everything you know about Fender strings as these are entirely new from the ground up. Let's just say I'm glad I'll be able to get discount 'employee pricing' on these, as I'll be using them for all of my own guits!

I gotta enter this. All I use is fender strings, and pay £8.50/$13 a set. I get through a box of 15 sets in 3 months.

Thanks for the heads up Brad.

Oh man, every single one of these is only for legal residents of the USA. Why can't Fender do these kind of promos in other territories? You can't win nothin from Fender Australia. I know there are economies of scale involved and our countries have much smaller populations than the US, but couldn't we have just a few promotions, on a lesser scale?
Our dealers need motivating... Often they don't even get stock into the stores. I stopped using Fender Super Bullets because every time I went to my local Fender dealer they didn't have any on the rack.

They do mate, occasionaly.

There are a lot of tax complications. I supose that they could offer a winner pay duties or forfeit clause. But suppose you were absolutely skint, rock bottom. They'd look a bigger cad for not bailing you out. Their subject to state/national laws that are not the same as ours.

Shame but there ya go.

Given that we just *yesterday* wrapped up a giveaway here that was open to international residents, and the grand prize winner of said giveaway lives in the UK, I do have to take objection to the statement above!

Oh, I didn't know about that one. Fair comment Brad... let's say most of your promotions are for US residents. Certainly every time I've received a Fender email about one and thought 'oh wow, yeah I'd love to win one of those' it's been for US residents only. But hey, that's fair enough for Fender USA. I'm just wishing Fender Australia was more than a warehouse and did similar things. I got no beef with Fender USA.

I'm in! Glad someone int'l won something otherwise we would never here the end of it.

Enter the contest anyway (maybe they won't notice)or get someone in the US to enter for you.

What are the odds of winning anything anyway? This is just for fun :)

Ah cmon Mustang. Ive long been aware of business's being limited by national law. I wouldnt have been moaning had you or any other US citizen won. It's not fenders fault they have to jump through hoops. God knows what Marshall would have to do. Note they dont offer competitions on a yearly basis.
Just the luck of the draw and I was 2nd choice anyway. Mike Eldred won it before me.

What are the odds of winning? I wasnt even aware I'd entered.

Smiling politely and wondering how'd I get so lucky (all day now).
