sorry if this got posted 2x

I was in a bar th other night and saw a guitartist with an old Silvertone tube amp. It sounded great!
So I researched these baby's and I found that the guy in The White Stripes uses these exclusively along with a fender tube amp.
I always enjoyed goin straight into a good tube amp, crank it, minus all the effects and getting that warm, raunchey, gritty grab u by the balls tone.

Of course like one of the greats said about tube amps, "volume IS tone" EVH

Here is a perfect example of what I'm talking about:

HOPE you enjoy!!

When I was in my 1st band in 69-70 we used a 100W silvertone head for a PA and a buddy of mine had a 100W silvertone amp that stored the head in the speaker cab when not in use,now that thing had gobs of tone.

My first amp was a silvertone (bought it at a swap meet when I was 15). The thing didn't look like much but worked darned well. Tube amps are the best.

My pops has got a ol' Silvertone amp that has kickin tone. I have tried to get it outta him but he told me I get it when he's gone. I honestly would rather have my Dad alive than the Silvertone so whatever....but if I had the chance to pick one up somewhwere I would.

love the old tube tone! I've seen silvertones advertized in vintage guitar mags.
