I've seen pictures of bombs with messages that soldiers had written on them, no difference really.

In the movie "Saving Private Ryan" it shows the sniper picking off enemy soldiers while quoting Bible versus but nobody made a big deal out of that.

This just looks to be another instance of people complaining about something just for the sake of complaining.

surely every army in history were told they had some kind of 'God' on their side, to paraphrase Mr Dylan.

Well, this is a Fender forum and we're waaaaayyyy off topic.
So i'd guess whatever god you believe in feels like playing their Starcaster, cranked through the Blonde Bassman.

As usual looks like someone wants his whining face on the news.....i bet he got kicked in the butt and wore his pocket protector proudly back in school. When will this endless whining come to a halt? "Its not fair" boo hoo! Yes maybe violations may have occured, but it seems to me that a congressional hearing/investigation/task force will be formed at our expense over an overblown bunch of BS... why people cant use their time wisely and try to find an end to the war, rather than focusing on something that doesnt amount to a hill of beans is beyond me. Our soldiers are fighting for freedoms that our country is trying to take away from them.
 Have the news media forgotten the fact that English is not the primary language over there? Do you really think they care about serial numbers?
I think they would rather put shoot at us and laugh about it later.
May God bless America and our troops!!!!!!!
Sorry for the rant here, but this just rubs me wrong.......I'm not tryng to start an arguement. Nor will I revisit this post to check....I just wanted to add my 2 cents..

In Nick Mason's book there is a picture like that.

The Pink Floyd van at the back and all their gear arranged in front, ready for the music wars.

Maybe issuing each trooper a magic amulet would be helpful as well.

We lost Vietnam to some skinny farmers who didnt even have plumbing,
let alone high tech sighting devices.
If these items are high quality, hey, use 'em. But the reason for the war is the war itself, and I doubt the manufacturer cares which way it goes, as long as it keeps going.
From 'Prince of Peace' to The American God of War, like Madonna, the Lord never gets stale, He just keeps on re-inventing Himself.

Thanks, Chet.
