i was looking around on guitarfetish.com and came across these guitars.
i think i've heard them mentioned around here once before. while checking these out i noticed they had really good prices and some of them looked pretty cool. so, i was wondering if anybody had any personal experience with these because i am seriously thinking on snagging one of them.

I too have wondered about the Xavier guitars. On another forum there is a resident reviewer that recommends the Xavier Strat and Tele models over the Squire. For the money you couldn't do to bad picking one up.
The SX Strat and Teles sold on Rondomusic.com are in the same price range and have great reviews also.

Very nice...Just as good, maybe slightly better, than my Squiers...

Jay Abend, the owner/president of GFS is a DIY type of guy and loves to modify and create. I know some who have used these as a base to try some mods on and have had decent results.

Hello Tanner1994,

Why bother, Xavier guitars are standard Asian knockoffs
on the secondary market no real value. Don't get me wrong
todays manufacturing demands quality and these are nice instruments.

At the end of the day they're really just posers of the real thing

Cheers.

P.S.- A used Squier will sell 10x faster than and give you a better return.

i have played the 335 model Xaviere and it was a really nice guitar especially for the money. Like someone else mentioned the knockoffs and rondomusic.com like the Agile's are great guitars too.

Without worrying about resale value or Asian manufacturing prejudice, I'll try to give my opinion. I have one of these and use parts and pickups from them. Everything I've bought from them has been great. The guitar was in great shape and only needed a minor truss rod adjustment when I got it. The fret work was excellent, the intonation only needed a small adjustment. It came with a graphite nut and it was cut perfectly. It has a pair of GFS Dream 180 humbuckers in it and I think they sound great, I got the semi hollow tele knockoff. The neck profile is C-shaped and medium sized, not too small, not too chunky. The finish was perfect. I have used it at gigs and it stayed in tune and sounded great. I have not tried to resell it, it is doing exactly what I bought it for. If you want an inexpensive guitar that you can modify and learn setup with, this is perfect. If you want an excellent inexpensive guitar that plays well and you can learn with and use for performances at just about any level, you can use an Xaviere. No, I am not on their payroll, I'm just a singing guitarist that uses an Xaviere. You can find photos of me using it at my bands website. www.thissideup.us Got to our pictures and scroll down to photos from the Oakwood blanket party and the Palsgrove wedding, July 18th and 19th for last year. Lately this guitar has been my practice guitar.

Whats the big deal, at least 50% or more of what you come into contact with on a daily basis is made in China. Asian factories put out quality instruments...Fender's made in Japan have a well known reputation that they can be just as good, in some instances better, than Fenders made in the US.

Ummm ... what "big deal" are you referring to? I was just wondering where they were made, and was venturing a guess. You may want to consider dialing down the caffeine, dude ... just a suggestion.
