I've got a few tatts, I posted my Owl on Mikes hooter thread. I'll post my "Monarch of the Glen" here. I have bear and wolf paw prints on my back, no pix of those unfortunately

I have two, one on my left shoulder and one on my right calf. Both I drew myself. They represent my two passions in life, the one on my shoulder represents rock climbing and the other of course is a guitar... they both get lots of compliments. I'm not going to post any pictures, I don't want some copycat stealing my designs.

No plans on getting another even though my wife insists I get her name tattooed on my butt. She got a little steamed when my reply was "what if we break-up?".

Only 3 now. I got the cross when I was 19. I'm a bit of a chicken $@!& and hate needles. If I had known it didn't hurt that bad I would have gotten it bigger. I got the Chile tattoo for my birthday 4/1/2008 and the J S in June of 2008 (Jaymz, my son and Sandi, my daughter) The star in the middle has special meaning to my wife and I. She has the same one on her right shoulder blade. I design all my own including all the ones my wife has gotten since I met her. She has 7. She had 1 when I met her. I am long overdue. Next I am getting my Gibson Explorer done on my left tricep and then my favorite strat on my right tricep. It is going to hurt like a $@!&* cuz they will be about 6-7 inches long.

Are you from Chile? I was in Iquique a few weeks ago but only for 2 days. Really liked it there. Good Pisco and wines.

I have Chinese characters on my right arm also, they say "father Nurtures child" .My daughter does tattoos but she didn't do mine. She's going to do one for me commerating the WW1 Battle of Beaumont Hamel where over 700 Newfoundlanders were killed or seriously injured in a battle that lasted less than 1 hour. It's going to be a cross with July 1,1916 printed on it.July 1 is Canada Day for the rest of Canada but we spend it honouring the memory of our lost heroes.

that's awesome! And I agree completely. Some of those tramp stamps and other tattoos just look ridiculous on otherwise beautiful women.

Well growing up in Brooklyn all my friends were just about covered by the time they were 20, I was the only guy in my crew that was clean. 25 Years later most of theres were fading and losing color. Then I had my midlife crisis and wound up getting 8 pieces in 3 months.lol I am totally happy with every piece and by the time they start fading I wont know what my name is.

That reminds me of a joke about a woman getting a rose tattoo on her breast. Twenty years later it's a long stem rose. Or something like that. lol
