I finally received the proper pot to fix my original 66 Vox Clyde McCoy.I ordered it from Northstar Audio in Hawaii and it's supposed to be a heavy duty replacement of the original pot.I've tried Dunlop and countless others but they don't cut it,Northstar as far as I know is affiliated with Roger Mayer(Jimi's tech wizard)so it should be good. His email is >tomlanik@earthlink.net<Anyway I'll post the results when I get it put in.

Sure mate my order for a drop in pcb is going in on monday. Build Your Own Clone (BYOC for google) ship worldwide and offer similar specs. They may be worth investigating on your end should US and UK people be fruitless for you.

I really cant wait for that soft pinch mid thing, thats the only way I can describe it. Who knows there may even be some wah'd acoustic demo's going on.

Happier than a dog with two bones.

The pot is in and the wah sounds just like it did when I got it in 69,the taper is identical to the original,Dunlop and all the others can't compare with the Pro Pot.I plugged in my 50th Ann. Strat and did the intro to Voodoo Child(slight return) and it nailed the sound of Jimi's Clyde, but I couldn't nail his dexterity.

Congratulations, you must be a happy player right now then!
If I were you and I had some spare cash I'd buy a few more pots as spares while such good ones are available. These things come and go, people go out of business, retire, decide a line isn't profitable enough etc.
