I actually like both. I find TSO to be more of a Christmas time band with songs like Faith Noel, Christmas Concerto, Siberian Sleigh Ride and others.
BSO, well, Brian Setzer is one my favorite guitarists of all time. He is credited with being the first guitar player to front a 16 piece orchestra. Songs like Sleepwalk, The Dirty Boogie, Pennsylvania 6-5000, Gettin' In the Mood and others.

I also like them both. Brian Setzer for his rockabilly swing style and TSO for the amazing performances.

Like CAF said, TSO is more of a Christmas time band. Like Manheim Steamroller. And some of their arrangements are just a little too dramatic, for lack of a better term, and busy for my tastes.

BSO is really more to my liking. Maybe because the music is closer to some of the music I could play. Wait a minute... it is some of the music I play.

I grew up listening to Glen Miller playing PE6-5000. Loved it then, still love it. Great swing tune. I always liked the Big Bands. They ROCKED. Setzer does a great job of proving that.
