Though a sin to drink that single malt anything other than neat, wouldn't you say? Do I remember right - I think Bushmills is the only single malt in Ireland?

Anyhow: many years (...decades) ago I had a girlfriend from Northern Ireland. But never got to see the Giant's Causeway: a corner of my education I'm waiting to catch up on. I'm a bit shocked to see the Bushmills graffiti in it, thoughbut...

Its pretty cool, especially if you are a Led Zep fan but evry time I've been up it's been absolutely freezin! lol.

You are right about single malt HAVING to be taken neat. I do love ginger ale and crushed ice wi my whiskey though. Its a great combo! Raspberry juice sets it off even more!

My wife introduced me to something called a "whisky-all-in". Whisky (or whiskey) with hot water, sugar and lemon. A barbaric thing to do to decent whisky - but secretly quite nice on a cold winter's day...!

Heehee! (Hiccup)

Cheers - C

Yup, in Glasgow its called a Hot Toadie or Toddy. Its lovely when you're cold. Stick some cloves to that lemon and you're laughing bro!

It's called a hot toddy in Kentucky as well. Only with bourbon, of course. :)
