Michael and I were listening to JB for the first time yesterday after someone posted about a thing he's doing with Jason Bonham and someone else, whose name escapes me at the moment.
We were blown away with his playing, and the first thing I did is check his tour schedule...of course, no one ever comes down to Florida!...maybe next year.

On another note, we checked the lineup for this year's Wanee Festival in Aprill, which is in a small town in Northern Florida...time to get tickets and get a sub for my classes
Allman Bros. Band, Widespread Panic, Govt. Mule, Derek Trucks/Susan Tedeschi, the Black Keys, North Mississippi Allstars, Bob Wier, Hot Tuna, Stephen Stills, Dr. John, Johnny Winter, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic (!!!), The Wailers, Chuck Leavell, and others....yeah, a good time will be had by all.
For those interested, tickets go on sale next week

The other gentleman, whose name escapes you, is Glenn Hughes. Bassist/vocalist for Trapeze, Deep Purple (during the Coverdale days), Black Sabbath, about 15 solo albums, Hughes/Thrall, Coverdale/Hughes, etc.

A GIANT in music history.

Currently Chad Smith is his drummer on his solo stuff.

Thanks TC, I remembered Glenn, but not the last name. Chad Smith's been busy lately, with Hughes, Chickenfoot, and hopefully back with RHCP.
