Being as though Mike Eldred won it first, and has just done a load of work for the Fender Center. Could the guitar not be auctioned to raise a bit more for the Fender Center and help them kids out a bit more?

A very kind thought -- but truthfully that'd be more trouble to arrange on this end than it'd likely be worth. That said, if you receive the guitar and elect to do your own charitable act with the prize (i.e., selling it and donating the proceeds or whatnot) you're certainly more than welcome to do so!
