So my search for an acoustic has ended (for now). I finally got my hands on a solid wood American made acoustic. Guild D-25 (2003) made in Corona CA. I have wanted a Guild for a long long time and my wait paid off. I found this one and bought it off a guy who has had it sitting in his closet since 03 after playing it for about 2 weeks. Just got it back from a setup yesterday and can't believe how nice the tones coming out of it are. In the end I sold my favorite Blueridge (which I loved) and used the money for the Guild. The best part, I got it for less than $500. It is near mint, perfect neck, action was nice and low from the factory and the owner never had it setup. I'm set for now although I can already tell my Telecaster is jealous and feeling neglected. 8)

i moved fast on a buy it now after the guy answered all the questions I had. $450 in all considering the owner said he paid $110 for it new. Fender customer relations emailed me some info and apparently they made this one foe only one year at the Corona plant so it may be "rare", but I don't think I will be parting with it anytime soon. Thanks man, I am really happy with it.

That's a beautiful guitar, one of my buddies has a Guild and it sounds just fabulous.Their 12 strings are without a doubt the best 12 strings on the market but I'd have a 6 string like yours in a heartbeat.

I never knew anything about Guilds until I saw one of my favorite groups do a MTV unplugged concert and from that point on after hearing a Guild I wanted one.

Speaking of their 12 strings, this is one of the songs from that unplugged performance...great tone on this Guild 12string...

haha nah but i did want to lay back and have a "cigarette" so i could get in the zone and play all night! I have been wanting a nice Guild for over a year now and never found a USA model I could afford. I almost took a leap and bout one of the DV-6 models that were made in Tacoma for $700 and I am glad I waited for sure. I'm also glad I got to this one fast enough on the buy it now before someone else did because it had 5 days left and the bidding was only $60 less than what I paid.

Is that a Jumbo body? Bet you fill the room with some bright clear sound.

Great find,
