I was wondering what everyones opinion was here for Tone Woods.
A while ago Martian and I rambled a bit about this build.
I have the plans for a Jaguar.(Very nice schematics and 1:1)
I play a wide variety of music and I am not a carpenter or wood worker, but my Father is. Plus he is retired and this will be a cool project for us to work on together. :D
So what are some ideas and opinions?

I have the hardware, pups and all electronics from a 65 Strat in a walnut neck and body kit I bought about 30 yrs ago and I must say that walnut imparts a beautifully warm yet bright tone and has great sustaining qualities.

I've always loved Swamp ash myself, but I am a Telecaster guy. Walnut would look super smooth for a Jag though! Either way keep us posted.
