i bin very sparse on here recently. missin ya's loads, but time at a premium etc. plus most o my internet usage is on my mobile/cellphone. but, i just got into a real rant with people on a fender post on facebook. first comment was about ana popovic posin for a pic in front o some good lookin guitars, apparently she's ugly (?). personally, before i evn heard her, who cares!?!? iimmediately i was in defensive mode about people judging people. checked her out, man, that is some crackin guitar. i'd heard one or two tunes before, but a woman that can play some mean blues like that is a woman after my own heart. but the point i was tryin to get at was, why are there so many arseholes out there, that think that just because they are anonymous they can comment on how someone ELSE looks!!! i went thru bullying growin up. I'm not scared to admit, i once bullied myself when i was in primary school. the bullied became the bully became the bullied. shame on me. i regret it. i was a kid. but no excuses, it is the most horrible thing can happen. just annoys me how from one single picture these mindless morons make a single judgement on someone. they complained about the guitars behind lookin better, well, they wouldn't have if they were playin them. cuz ya can see right thru falseness like that. at least she goes out and makes a lot o people happy every night. i could go on....

what i hate tho, is people thinkin because it's a faceless medium, it doesn't hurt!

I checked out the picture and well, those cats saying she is ugly need their man card revoked...she looks mighty nice to me and her playing is good also. One thing you can be sure of is the clowns bagging on her for her looks would never be scoring with her or a girl as nice looking as her, so they choose to hate instead. I can understand you getting angered though, you were on the right side in this argument, rest assured in that.

I'm not gonna bash her skills cuz she's got skills. But I'm sorry guys, I don't find her attractive. I kinda get why you think she's hot but, her face aint happening for me. She aint ugly but she's no Megan Fox. And yeah, my wife is much hotter, if you like Tiffany Amber Theison. That's who my wife resembles. Just sayin.

The internet is full of keyboard warriors as I call them and they are annoying as hell. I get sucked in sometimes too but at least this is a board where people can say what they want and in my case ask the dumbest newbie questions and still be treated with respect.

I can't help but laugh at clowns like that. She is a phenominal player with great skills. I will be frank, I don't care for John Mayer. He is a talented musician who does have incredible skills, but to me his work is nothing that excites me. I won't put him down because of this, I will just politely say his music is not my cup of tea. The clowns who like to talk like this usually a) can't play b) have confidence issues...they put others down to make themselves feel more valid. I'm with you Binterz my brother!!!

As a dumb newbie... I am also eternally grateful for this consideration!

I suppose even an well seasoned guitarist can remember back to those awkward days of first picking up a guitar and making nothing but a lot of noise. Then one day, the light came on and the world was right.

i say a 6.5 just because i prefer Latina but I would certainly give her some loving in exchange for guitar lessons! Just not my cup of tea if we are talking about anything serious.
