Was playing some Peter, Paul, and Mary on the Ovation, now dinner while on the computer and then time to plug in the Stagemaster or the Strat for some 38 Special or Skynard.

Last night was spent polishing up all the leads on Brown-eyed Girl with my newest MIA Blizzard Pearl Strat thru the Pro tube Twin (clean channel) with a wee bit of compression, delay and reverb. I love this song but its a work out on the fingerboard...

The Vintage 5 got the nod again this morning. Getting a lot of sound out of that little 5 watt amp! Practiced barre chords. Damn... my fingers are killing me! The wife says my face is killing her!

Working right now, but tonight will start with MIM P-bass + B-DEC = scales. Then, run through a dozen or so blues backing tracks for bass.
Later, moving on to playing acoustic guitar and harmonica at the same time, keeping it to simple 3-chord stuff. I sound like crap now, but I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it.

I spent the last few hours playing my P bass clone I got on Monday. Never really played bass before so was learning some songs. I learned White Room by Cream, Everything to Everyone and White Men in Black Suits by Everclear.
