Any one have any of the clip on guitar/bass tuners?

I'm in the market for one that will tune any number of acoustic or electric instruments.

Recommendations?

Hi Chet,
I use the intellitouch tuner (about $30.00) It works great for all of my guitars
It is very accurate.

I had one of each of these with each of my guitars, always seemed to work well. The beauty part of them was that you could mute your sound to tune, and since it reads the vibration on the instrument it's clipped to you didn't have to worry about "bleed over" from others making noise.

And I say "had" because my Montara now has a built in tuner with the new preamp, and my Line 6 bass and guitar amps have built in tuners as well.

These Intellitouch are really easy to use. The one "caveat" is that you have to find the "sweet spot" on each headstock. The best spot to read the vibrations is different on each one, and you just need to know where it is and it works like a champ in my experience. I lent them to other musicians in our church band for violin and mandolin as well.

Too bad I already got rid of a couple or I could have made you a deal. 8)

For little investment, they were very reliable and the batteries seemed to last forever, never changed 'em on any of the 4 I had. or 2 I still have.

I did get a clip on tuner. I ended up getting the Intellitouch PT10 Mini Tuner. And it works great!!!

I mainly use the Planet waves ClipOn tuner. It's smaller than the intellitouch and seems more accurate/responsive to me. The backlight also changes from red to green when in tune 8)

Chet, I have a boss tuner I keep it on a bar stool at home I know it won't help with your acoustics but it will work with all of your electrics.

I have an Intellitouch PT1 clip-on.

But almost everything electronic seems to have a tuner built into it anymore.
My Acoustic has a preamp and built in tuner,
So does my Roland cube amp and the rp-155 pedal I just acquired.

I've always liked the Boss TU-2 or Fender PT-100 but they are pedals not clip-on's.

I have owned a BOSS TU-2 for a long time. I love it. But I needed something for my acoustic instruments too.
