it is good mate :) it's a minced lamb curry with fried rice and an unlevened bread , curry is a scottish staple but most people just phone up for it , i prefer to make my own , have done since i got married 24 years ago

Tonight I'm making my excellent mushroom/oregano lasagna with small dices of spicy red wine choriso sausage instead of ground beef (and a couple other secret ingredients).

Mmmm... lasagna!

This reference to Scottish food reminds me of the line in the movie "So I Married an Axe Murderer" where Mike Meyers says "I firmly believe that much of Scottish cuisine was based on a dare." Or something like that.


Back to the thread, tonight we are having my wife's home-made lasagna, a personal favorite of mine. I might swing by the liquor store on the way home and pick up another favorite of mine, Moosehead Lager, to go with it.
