You know how almost any wah pedal always has that (acoustic not electric) clicky sound of the on/off switch as you get toward the end of the toe down stroke? Is there any way to get rid of this sound? I know it's not a problem with optical wahs but wondering if anyone has a fix or a workaround?

It's a mechanical switch so you get a mechanical noise. Most pedals click when you push them.

I think I came up with a fix. I'll open it up and rotate the pinion back about 15 degres so that as I hit the peak resonance on the toe down, I'll avoid the switch.

I'm weird like that... if I ask the question and then get some feedback, for some odd reason, it helps me get it sorted out.

Thanks 63supro!

So you're tapping the switch while sweeping the pedal? Changing the pinion and rack position won't void your warranty. Everyone including myself have done that since the dinosaur days. Usually the wah's I get travel too far on the treble side and sound harsh so I just roll the pot back a little and put it back together. I usually don't sweep far enough the hit the switch anyway.

That should do it - I'll get on it today! Now in fact! 8)
