Okay, so i've looked everywhere online and i can't find a good price for either the TSL100 amp head or a marshall amp cabinet. I see prices, but every single one is different. on sites like sweetwater and musiciansfriend, i'm getting no results with my search.

So my question is what would a Marshall TSL100 head and cabinet combo cost me? Also, would it be worth it to sell my Fender Hot Rod Deville 410 to get it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

You’re not going to find TSL’s from Sweet water as Marshall don’t make them anymore and your going to only find them used…of course used prices are going to very but from seller to seller but as a general rule there worth (in very good shape) around $600 / $700.00 Bucks in the us. (for head) 700 to 800 for combo….used cabinets prices are going to very from model to model but I would say around half or maybe a bit less (of a new one) would be resalable considering in good shape…there out there in great numbers and with a bit of hard shopping you can really find a great deal if you look……….as far as selling your fender for it …that is up to you as I don’t know what kind of music you play or what sound you’re looking for………..I will say this the TSL is not one of the better Marshall amps… they just don’t sound as good as most of the others…..IMO the DSL 100 or 50 is a much better amp than the TSL… there are more of them out there on the used market and Marshall is still making them new too…musicians friend has them for 1,299.00 for the whole half stack….the cab is a cheaper plywood than the heavy birch they usually use so they keep the cost down a bit..just not as heavy duty for super hard gigging but still sounds really good.
Hope I answered your question.

Cheers
Bill

Hey thanks a lot man. That was really helpful. I'll definately check out the DSL. I figure it's worth it to get a DSL for a few hundred more. I'll be sure to check it out at GC or somewhere to try it for myself though. Again, thanks!
