Hi guys,

I got my pedalboard out the other day, it's been in my cupboard for a few months unused. I hooked it all up, and plugged it into my blues jnr. The MXR phaser works, the Voodoo Lab chorus gives out a loud buzz, no guitar signal, the VOX satch works fine, the Boss BD2 works fine, the last one MXR distortion + gives me nothing at all. The board itself is a Boss BCB - 60, I've changed the cables, still getting the same problems. I don't know a great deal about these things, so any help or advice is welcome.

Try running them all on batteries and make sure everything is plugged in the same(correct) direction. Some have more than one exit to amp. Use the bypass connection if they have that option. I'm just guessing Snowy but it's worth a shot to slowly follow your chain from your guitar to the amp input.
Good luck my friend!

Use new batteries!

Thanks Hop,

I've always had better results with new batteries. Remember plug guitar into the input of effect then output of that effect to input on the next ,so on and so on. You should wind up plugging the output of the last effect in the chain into the amp input! Does that make sense. I've confused myself!!

Another thing to remember when using batteries is to make sure to unplug all of your effects when not using them,The reason is that some will not turn completely off unless unplugged. Some turn on as soon as you plug something into them and continue staying on and draining your new batteries!

Happens to me from time to time even though pedals are all on AC. If you replace the batteries, it's probably just a bad connection somewhere unless a pedal went south. Just eliminate the pedals one at a time until you find the culprit.

Thankfully both pedals work fine running on batteries, still seem to have a problem with the board. I'll take it to the guys in my local place to have a look see, thanks for the advice guys.

OK Al, I'll bookmark this thread. As soon as I get the call, I'll give you a shout here. I've ordered the Texas Red Blues Jnr, I have a Blues Jnr here. When I pick the new one up, we can come back here and jam the two of them
