Hi there,
I'm a computer animator and fender's fan, I made a 3D animation for my favorite fender guitar and mourning for John English.
You can download it here:
http://www.ghost-joe.com/mov/telecaster_640.mov (need quicktime player)
Youtube lick here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I84pVVH74_U

and here are some rendering stills, made by 3D software.
Hope you like it.

That's amazing!....you should try to take some shine of than neck....it a bot "too perfect" If you know what I mean....same with the finish.
BTW if you have Maya you should use Mental ray for the body....I dunno if you can import C4D stuff into Maya though.

Very nice, dude. My son is an animator, too... former Pixar and Electronic Arts, currently working for LucasArts.
