(Copied the post below from another thread -- decided to pull this conversation all into one thread.)

Another lengthy day of trade show prep for us. Typing this from the Fender "I.T. den" tucked away back behind our exhibit area -- I and two of my web crew, Mike and Jeremy, have been camped out here for nearly 17 hours straight today getting ready for the madness to ensue.

Highlight of my day was turning around from the laptop a bit earlier this evening to see a smiling Eddie Van Halen with hand extended -- he was kind enough to stop by back here last year as well for a bit, so his visit is becoming a tradition for us!

Anyway ... the show officially opens tomorrow. Make sure you're watching Fender on Facebook, Twitter, and keeping an eye right here on the Fender Blog as well. We'll be launching a "New for 2010" feature here on the site as well so be watching for that too.

I've managed to round up a few prizes ... more details on that to come!

WOW. We just had a visit back here from the legendary Jeff Beck and had a personal listen to him demoing the new G-DEC 3 for 20 minutes -- simply amazing and definitely the highlight of the day so far. This job does make me pinch myself on occasion.

We've been super busy launching a bunch of new content across all FMIC sites today so apologies for not checking in here as of yet. Check out http://www.fender.com/products/showcase/2010/ for our ongoing coverage.

Now that we've gotten all of our product-related microsites launched we'll be refocusing on capturing photos and video from the show floor so there'll be a ton of that in the days ahead.

Yes, even after nearly 10 years at Fender there are still some of those "wow, I can't believe I work here!" moments and this was definitely right up there.

Ha! Thanks for the offer -- I could have used your help to go get our team some coffee at about 4:00 a.m. the other night. LOL!

Well I really enjoyed seeing fenders namm highlights last year via this site, particularly Kim Falcon
Image.

This year doesnt look like its going to dissapoint either. Just watching the Meatbats video. Now theres a unusual band I would have never heard if it wasnt for this site.

Brad any chance you could incorporate links to the various bands websites. Maybe push them forward a little.
