So this is a sort of odd thing that happened to me.
Months ago I was driving home with 2 of my friends with one of my friends dad driving. He has his I pod going with a pretty fun mix of genres. This 80's glam rock song comes on and the singing starts and instantly I say "this is Def lepard!". So we listen and it's catchy with probably one of the best solos I've ever heard.
The other day I though... What was that one really cool song we lisented to that one time? So the local radio station guy says >~£}€graph (didn't catch the first part of the word. And i'm like did he just mention the name of a song while he mentioned a bunch of other bands? That was me thinking it was the def lepard son photograph. Any ways it comes on and it's that song! But I can't ever find it again... Maybe the bands name was photograph?... No band named that.... So I gave up.

Until tonight! He says next up we have van halen, AUTOGRAPH, and Queen. I just shout that's it! The band is Autograph not photogaph. So I wikipedia ut up and yes I got it right. So the funny part is that (acording to wikipedia) they named there band autograph because of the song photograph by def lepard. So I was right to mess them up! And that really cool solo happens to be ranked as one of the eat of the 80's or something!

Any way that was a really stupid story but I just had to tell someone!

Check out the son on YouTube! Turn Up The Radio- by Autograph
a great but misleading song.

Here's a link!

A really tasteful solo for the song I think. Something about it just gets me!

Haha, I love that song!! :P I didn't know it was that song when it first started playing, but when they sang the chorus, I instantly knew what it was.

I've never heard the full song before, but I have to say....it's pretty friggin' catchy. A fantastic solo, too!

Hilarious, their homage to the leppard brings a smile for sure.

That's so silly ;~)

The solo on Photograph by Def Leppard is a pretty hot one too!

Autograph's Steve Lynch got a lot of love from the guitar community in the early '80s. He -- along with Night Ranger's Jeff Watson -- were completely mad two-handed tappers.

I might a well ask here seeing as how some of you chaps may know the anwser. Who invented two hand tapping? I guess it would be a number of people. You say those guys were well know for tapping but woulden't that be Eddy Vanhalen? Was he a pioneer of this technique or did he just copy it off other guitarist?

Just curious really!
