i have 2 kids, neither of whom showed an interest in guitar, even though they like to hear me play.

my daughter and her hubby are expecting their first child in may. he is getting my squier strat when the time is right, and hopefully he will have the passion.

even though i would rather play music, i am still a big listener too. it can relax you, and as a musician inspire you too.

listening to larry carlton (smile and smiles), or wes montgomery. or many of my other heroes just puts me in a great mood.

real cutie, my grandson will be a year in feb. and loves the blues. His mom knows a few chords, but I'm hoping he will pick it up. It will make spoiling him easy for me. :)

What a dollface, Snowy! It's a great feeling isn't it? I used to carry my baby boy around the house singing softly to a cd, (in my mediocre way). He would relax and fall asleep so long as I didn't sing off key - then he would fuss! Not surprisingly,12 years later, he seems to have a good ear.

Ah, bliss,

Gridlok :)
