Big Jay, it was one of those moments...I have no problem at restaurants or anywhere else. I ended up watching The Who with special guests at Royal Albert Hall...at least until I started dozing off. I'm now going to watch "The Day the Earth Stood Still" dvd....hmmm...new one or original...original or new one???

j/k, I'm going to start with the new one, now that the Jets beat the Bengals :D :D :D

I really like that media rack setup. I have 300+ dvd's from trading plus tons of LPS and discs so I'm well aware of this calamity of "what to watch or listen to."

My son's a sophomore in HS now but I have plans for his room in the not to distant future for my guitar/music room  Not that I want to kick him out or anything

WI, that's an Ikea Expedit bookshelf...great storage solution and they come in different sizes and colors, plus you can get legs.

I was looking for something to watch or listen to (or both) and I started looking through my media....I just kept going back and forth, up and down, and I realized I couldn't pick anything...too many choices!  So I decided to go back on the computer and think about it :? :?

Maybe I'll watch The Who and Friends dvd....or maybe the Foo Fighters at Wembley dvd....or maybe Bullitt....or maybe.................HELP!!!!!!!

Yeah! I am in that situation all the time! I hate making choices when there are too many choices to begin with! And I'm not talking just about picking or choosing what music to listen to. I hate too many choices! So I tend to pick whatever comes to my mind first.

I know someone who has at least three times that in his collection--and he still sometimes feels like he just listened to everything, and he doesn't know what to listen to. (I have less than that myself.)

The black one is the new Beatles Remasters (Stereo) and the white one is the Mono Remasters....both very well done by George Martin's son.

Oh, OK. I had not seen them like that. I have them downloaded. Have not listened to much of them yet.

I have quite a large collection of Beatles.

When in doubt... turn on cable TV to a music channel and just pick a genre and let someone else decide. Or there's always internet radio. 8)
