Have you guys ever been in this situation?
I was looking for something to watch or listen to (or both) and I started looking through my media....I just kept going back and forth, up and down, and I realized I couldn't pick anything...too many choices!  So I decided to go back on the computer and think about it :? :?

Maybe I'll watch The Who and Friends dvd....or maybe the Foo Fighters at Wembley dvd....or maybe Bullitt....or maybe.................HELP!!!!!!!

Sadly enough, that's all, though I did come back from NY with 6 more LPs...MC5, Phil Ochs, Super Session, Dylan at Budokan, Never Mind the Bollocks, and Roxy Music's Manifesto. I have approx. 550 albums, maybe another 300 on cassette, perhaps 100-125 cds, and a bunch of dvds......used to have more, but both ex-wives took their shares.

Grab a guitar and play along with the Super Session LP. That brings back one of my favorite summers.

Enjoy,

Just put on the TV, watch some chick channel like O2 or something, turn the sound down, then crank your guitar and play like you are making a score for that show.

With a huge collection, at times, you just gotta close your eyes, and randomly grab something...fate will take you to what needs to be listened...

I've been there way to many times to count. Thats one of the hardest decisions you'll have to make. Sometimes I find I just simply can't decide what to listen to/watch. I agree that sometimes you just have to close your eyes and blindly pick something.

I really like that media rack setup. I have 300+ dvd's from trading plus tons of LPS and discs so I'm well aware of this calamity of "what to watch or listen to."

My son's a sophomore in HS now but I have plans for his room in the not to distant future for my guitar/music room  Not that I want to kick him out or anything
