It never works for me as well. I'm using Linux with Opera as a browser. What's nice is all I need to do is key control+enter and it populates and logs in for me. What OS and browser are you using?

I use Safari and Windows XP and it works in both of those. Maybe there is a security setting that needs to be changed for the browser you are using. Are cookies enabled?

I use windows internet explorer,I know diddly squat about computers, browsers etc. I'm lucky to have gotten this far.I had a DVD come a few days ago that's an internet primer I'll watch when I can tear myself from the Forum long enough.

Don't log out when you leave, just go to another site or close the browser/tab. 8)

Hi guitslinger: I use Internet Explorer and in the past automatic log-in has worked fine for me.

I'm wondering if the problem is that you say you are clicking that box every time. You should need to do it once and then never again. But then I guess if you are even seeing the log-in page the function hasn't worked...

I wouldn't normally suggest people bother Brad (Forum administrator) with stuff, but in this situation why not send him an email and ask about it? Perhaps the facility has been disabled - I don't use it anymore so I don't know...

Cheers - C

I never logged out, always forget. I click into the forum, and I'm ready to read and post. I figure, if I stay long enough, I might learn to type with more than one finger. maybe not.

I've had the same problem since the beginning.

Works fine for me on several computers. Mac OS X / Safari.

As suggested, don't log out. And just as important - enable your browser cookies. (A cookie lets the forum recognize you. "Hey, I know you, c'mon in!)

I'm using Firefox and I've never had a problem with it. It always logs me in whenever I come here.
