Sorry to those who responded to this previously -- had to yank it for a moment while our servers synced. I need your help doing a quick video playback test if you don't mind -- please visit the following two pages and then click the "Watch the Video" link at top right:

http://www.fender.com/gdec3_test/
http://www.fender.com/gdec3/

We're getting some reports of choppy playback on the first link above and I'm curious to hear your experience as well as whether the second link resolves the issue.

Thanks much!

Brad, super cool ad, the first one, screen was bigger but the clip started and stopped a lot. The second one, screen was smaller but easier to watch (didn't start and stop as much).

Thanks, this is the behavior others have reported as well -- just looking to get a feel for how widespread this is.

If you or anyone else having jerky playback on the first clip have 5 minutes to run some quick tests for me, please drop me a line at ForumAdmin@fender.com -- thanks much!

Brad,

I watched both links. The 1st one was so choppy I had to stop. I liked the screen size, but maybe too much image reducing the flow of the vid. The second link was more smooth, screen was a little smaller, but overall was good. Nice amp, I have a G-DEC and now wish I would have held out for this model.

The first video was very choppy with many gaps, stops and starts, the second played through without a hitch. What a great amp!

The typical d/l speeds on my DSL line are 181kb/sec max and sometimes less. The large video stopped briefly a few of times to buffer and the small one played clean. People with fio or cable might not experience any hiccups at all.

Both links just worked fine for me.

I liked the larger size/image of the first one.

Yep, the bigger file "test" vid plays just fine now. I happened to stumble onto the page yesterday afternoon on an extremely fast connection and even the opening animation was was choppy. (the video was worse) Looks like you got it sorted now.
