I joined on dec. 5th of 2008. I think I started lingering long before that though because I was considering a Tele for my next guitar. This forum was a great source to see what people were saying about different models, issues, etc.

Getting the Tele was one of the best decisions I made! My Tele's are my favorite guitars!

Say under my name. I used to love coming here. This new design in hard on the eyes, and the lack of divider lines between all the posts just makes it look like one huge glob of text, and hard to distinguish. I kind of lost my interest and almost never visit anymore though, because of that...

I joined about a year ago seeking information on my mysterious Purple Squier. It turns out it was actually a 2000, not a 1990 as I previously thought. A couple of weeks later there was that contest, so I decided I might as well enter. And I actually won my amp here! But that got me reading all the forums and I thought I could learn a lot if I stuck around, so I did. :D

I am sure that someone has pointed this out, but it does say by each members name on posts they make when they joined the forum...

So if you just look to the left, you will see when I joined if that type of thing interests you...At times these days it seems people read less and are just used to relying on people telling them stuff that's already out there to be told...

I had to go back to an old post to find my join date. I can't believe I've been here that long. At first I would post every chance I got to earn my "picks" but now If I can't contribute something to the thread I just read it and move on...

I've really enjoyed being a part of this forum and I appreciate everyone in it. Nice to see some of the old regulars like dgonz poke his head back in once in a while.

Jan. 29, 09. after visiting the SAHB site and wanting to stay on the computer. then wondered "what was I doing when the Forum started in June of '07 ?" I was an extra on a movie with Dennis Quaid called The Express being shot here at Lane Tech (football stadium) and Northwestern University (Dyche stadium) scenes for the cotton bowl and another game I don't remember. I'm supposed to be a reporter on the side lines, there were 20 of us and they dressed us all alike.
