So now you just have to wait for its arrival sometime over the course of the next 12 hours...not that it will take 12 hours to get it, but they always say they deliver between 7am and 7pm or something...

I'm right there with ya! I purchased a used Ibanez JEM 555 from guitar Center a few days before Christmas, but law dictates that it must sit in the store for 21 days. I get to pick her up on the 12th. Its been an agonizing wait! :x

Your not the only one waiting on a new axe. I ordered a Blackout Tele and it should be here this Friday or Monday. But they let me take the floor model home in the meantime so they did the right thing.

I don't know which is worse, waiting for the UPS man to come, or waiting for the store to call. At least with UPS you get a tracking number.

Wait? Waiting is for amateurs!

I go and pick them up at the UPS facility before the trucks take off! Seriously. At my local UPS, they're perfectly fine with you showing up at 8 AM or so and asking for whatever it to is, to be pulled off the trucks and handing it to you.

Matter of fact, I did that very thing this morning! My new (used from MF) Sienna Sunburst AmStd, is getting acclimated to indoor temps as I write this!

So um, yeah ... I can relate to the torture known as "waiting for the brown santa"! Now I just have to wait for lunch so I can open her up!

Your right and I`d rather have a tracking number and deal with UPS.

ES 11 the Casino is the most comfortable guitar I've ever played besides my 65 Strat, you hardly have to apply any pressure on the strings. The guitar came perfectly set up,all I had to do was swap the strings(it came with 10-46)John Lennon used super light strings 8s or 9s as do I.It has the real Beatle vibe and glassiness much moreso than my MIC Casino(even that's a fine guitar)I've heard that the Inspired By... are also a great bang- for the-buck but the $2600 I paid for my John Lennon was a bargain as the sound, playability and build quality are equal to or better than Gibsons that cost far more.
