When it rains, it pours! I'm not the praying type, but I'll be passing some seriously positive mojo your way!

Jim;Although I don't attend church I was raised by deeply religious parents and I believe very much in the power of prayer and the ability of God to reach out and touch those who need him most, your father has my prayers, thoughts and wishes for a full recovery.God takes special care of those who have Him in theirhearts.God bless you and your family and may he give you strength.

I'll say a prayer for you and all of your family.

I may not know totally what you're going through, but I know the road well.

My father used to be so healthy--weightlifted every day, walked everywhere, drove the car, fixed the house up, cleaned the gutters, etc.

Two years ago, he went to mass in the morning...that was it. We still don't know what happened because the church won't talk to us (cast him out like a leper and he went to that church for about 40 years!). He fell in the parking lot (I think), and he suffered a subdural hematoma. He was in a coma for over four months. No one thought he would wake up. After four or five brain surgeries, he woke up...mentally alert but a quadriplegic. He went from doing everything himself to everything being done for him. He must be in hell right now. Makes me pissed and makes me rage and makes me tear up.

All of this happened after mom suffered a lot of health problems.

Then, the school where I worked at was closed by the pastor.

I'm not even going to get into caregiver horror stories.

Mom now had some sort of blood blister that burst and had to get stitches to stop the bleeding and now her finger is infected and may need surgery. She also suffers from spinal stanosis (sp--can't spell it right now)

All this now in the midst of dad being in the hospital again for pneumonia and cheating death yet again (before that, he had a gall bladder attack and almost died).

And now, credit card fraud.

And I lost most of my friends. No one really talks to me anymore.

And I got dumped...well more like just fell off the face of the planet and won't even acknowledge me.

I got a new job, but it's not the same as the previous place. It just seems colder and darker.

You're not alone. It sucks that bad things happen to good people. *virtual hug*

Sounds like you could use some Mojo too Angel, life can be rough at times. I always try to take a positive out of a negative situation (don't scream at your monitor  ) believe me, I know it's not easy. But quite often it can work for me, you have to look hard for them though  Get in to your guitar, it's at times like these when they can be real buddies. I'm sending mojo your way, as well as Jim's. I wish you both all the very best.

My family's thoughts are with you. It's amazing how things seem to pile up on a person all at once.
