What a coincidence...I had his Silk Degrees album out and trying to find a song in my vocal range and was doing the same. I ended up learning "What Do You Want The Girl To Do?" I did have to drop it a whole step though.

I've been working on Joe Satriani's, "Ten Words" lately. Almost got it done.

Worked on it last night. We are medleying My Sharona - We Got The Beat - Come On Feel The Noise - Hey Mickey - then back to the ending of My Sharona. The complete medley is just over 7 minutes. We do other medleys that always pack the dance floor. We'll call this our 80s medley.

47 days- MrSolarcoaster, new song. Our singer Rob is good, I like his songs. It will be on the album, sorry I don't have a rough cut for review. 8)

Great minds and all that Mike  I had his album Dig playing, it's full of great tunes. I'll need to get a hold of Silk Degrees, I'm off to amazon.com now!

I just learned "Majestic" by Lincoln Brewster.

Lately I've been working on learning "Crossfire" and some of "Pride and Joy" by Stevie Ray Vaughan. Challenging, but also very fun to play! :D

The last one i learned is Come Home Running by Chris Tomlin which i think is mostly piano but i'm not sure. I've never really heard all of his version. I learned it from a music sheet. I'm working on Big Green Tractor by Jason Aldean now along with trying to get Tears in Heaven down fingerstyle.
