I am telling you, the more I deal with American Musical Supply the more I love them. I ordered a guitar back in oct...I had a price match of 20%off...I get my bill and see that AMS didn't apply it to my order. Today I get a call from AMS with an apology for not havcing done that, the 20% refunded back to me and a 20% credit for my next AMS guitar order....I am just totally impressed with them. They were so apologetic and sincere. I would have just been happy with the money that they returned. They went way above and beyond! great folks! :D

It's always nice to hear of a company really trying hard to do the right thing, (and MORE in this case.) We certainly hear enough about those who seem to do less - there's way to many of 'em.

A little thumbs up for a job well done - maybe it'll push a little business their way. As it should be.

Cheers, Gridlok 8)

Smart companies look after their clients, what better advertising than word of mouth. I know from my own experience in the retail sales, this is the best form of advertising. Great to hear, thanks ABS 8)

You can't beat their 3/5 payment plan, and they stock pretty much the same stuff as everyone else. I would rather deal with them than GC/MF

Snowy,
I hear you. They are great and that is why I had to just let everyone know! Has your latest edition arrived yet?? I am anxious to see pics..:) I am ordering a nice shiny new Strat..:). Mrs ABS and I were talking about it and she said..beb if you want one get it..:) So I am ordering either a HWY1 Strat 3 color sunburst with maple neck or a MIM strat brown burst with maple neck. If I go with the MIM then the extra $s will go for som studio gear. How was your Christmas?? Hope all is well my friend.

Nothing beats good customer service before, and after, a sale. :)

In an age where businesses routinely jerk customers around it's refreshing to hear that some still have good old fashioned values and integrity. If I cross-border shop in the future I'll certainly be looking into AMS.As I've read some not so flattering reports of some companies.

+1 on AMS! I recently purchased my SCXD from them and I've bought several guitars in the past with more planned for the future.

Their website is easy to navigate around, their customer service is excellent and I've had zero problems with the gear I've purchased from them.

I'll definitely keep using them. They are 5 stars in my book!

Hey ABS,
I had a very quiet Christmas, just me and the dog. Although my sis and her kids paid a visit, it was just a few hours but lots of fun. I'm going to take a walk in to town now, destination guitar store  I haven't heard from them, but that's nothing new. I don't think it will be in yet, everyone just went back to work today here. I'm still going in though, you never know  I'll post pix in the Tele forum as soon as I get her, ditto with your new Strat (although in the Strat forum I guess) Good luck on your choice, as we both know, you can't go wrong with a Fender 8)

I just ordered a couple of things from them the other day. Order went very smoothly and it shipped much faster than I had expected. I didn't pay for next day shipping and yet it had shipped from them the day after I ordered it. I've always been impressed by their service.

Ummm, you know that "next day shipping" means the item will arrive the day after it ships from them, right?

Yes I'm aware of that, but typically orders take a few days to get shipped out so it was great to see it get shipped so fast.

Interesting that you state this Snowy as I am now on-line reviewing their website based on airbornestrat's recommendation. Funny how the good word on excellent customer service travels.....
