Does anyone know If the late Bernie Mac was a bass player? Channel surfing today I was reminded about something I noticed a while back. When Bernie does his little bit about talking to "America", apparently from what looks like it's supposed to be his den, on the back wall hangs what appears (from the position of the thumb rest) to be a vintage 60's Precision bass in a Fiesta Red finish. Was he a player, or is that just set decoration ?
(Yes , I do realize it's a set and not his real den.)

I saw a Bio on him not long ago,All the talked about was Stand Up and Acting. No mention of Music.

He did sing in "Soul Men"; I found no mention of him playing bass.
