Is there any other 13 year olds on here? I wanna ask him/her if life is long. I wanna see if its an age thing.

I turned 14 in October, so, I guess I'm pretty close.

Anyway, I know what you're saying. It seems like ages ago when me and my sis were playing on the playground and rolling down the big hill that's there. :P Now it's all school, school, and more school. And then when you think you're done, you got more school.
I think it's pretty dangin' cool how seemingly far me and my sister have come, yet I know how we've both only been here for fourteen years(we're fraternal twins). I know I have a long life ahead of me, and I'm just trying to take every day as it comes; especially with school. It seems like it'll never end.
We have three more years of highschool, and then at the minimum four years of college. I would ideally like to go to the Berklee College of Music or maybe even the Peabody Institute, which is run by Johns Hopkins.

Sorry, I'm rambling.
Back to the point.
My view on life is to just have fun. That's always been my "motto", if you'd like to call it that. I always try to see the good side of everything.

Enjoy life. Simple as that.

Edit: Typo

Hey Riley, I'm 15(not at all That much older than you) and is see what you meen. Living out your life not having to worry about money and carazy stuff. Just hanging out, playing music and socializing at camp fires! What A life it would be. For me life is like I just started living it a while ago. I look back and think wow! All that stuff I did as kid, I don't feel like doing it now but I wish I had savored it. Now I'm doing way more cool stuff(music) and I don't Want that to happen. So I try my best to live out each day savoring the good times whit friends and family. Sure I have to worry about school stuff but there's enough great stuff to do that makes up for it. I'm doin my best not to miss out on that stuff.... I'm not doing to good at it but I'm still trying!

The older fellows on the forum probably think it's silly to be depressed at our age and I think it is. So live how ever you like and do the things you might not be able to do when your older. Cause I'm pretty sure you might regret life If you don't.

Will p

Did I ever say I was deppresed in this thread? No.

Sorry Riley, I guess your right. I guess by depressed I meant like mad and confused of like why the world is the way it is! Sorry bout that man!

Enjoy being young while you can. Life is very fleeting.......way to short.... 8) Mike

You reckon?

I will vouch for that.

When your young you want to rush to be older, when your older, you want to be younger.

Enjoy you youth while you have it riley.

When you get older the years pass extremely quickly and you have so many more responsibilities which make them pass that fast.

Don't fret Riley, life speeds up very quickly.
I'm 46 and it seems like only about a week ago I was 20.
I remember holding my oldest son when he was an infant like it was yesterday and he will be turn 17 in 2 weeks.

The more responsibilities you have the faster time flies.

The indiginous peoples lived in tents and didn't have electric guitar (or most of their teeth). Civilization is better.

The key is to find work you enjoy and value.

It does exist.

Then it becomes 60 years of doing something you enjoy and value.
