Post subject: Issue with pickup on Grand Auditorium Fender Acoustic.

I'm not the most technically savy guy, and I'm looking for some help.

Suddenly, when plugged in my amp or PA, the 6th string is very loud, and all others are very soft. I cannot tell for sure which is functioning at the correct volume, but suspect it is the 6th string. I have been using the instrument with no problems for nearly 6 months until now. Model GA45SCE Grand Auditorium. Any ideas/suggestions?

I am not familiar with that model. Have you changed the battery recently? Did you mess with the tone knob or eq on the guitar? Did it get banged around recently? Try to elimate some of the simple stuff. If you cannot get a resolution, take it to the shop.

Sorry for not including the details. Replaced battery, no banging around or changes in temperature or humidity. The guitar is very well taken care of.
