It was -8c here last night. Nice and sunny today though, we had a bit more snow early this morning. I've had a walk and very pleasant it was.

Same here Rhumba, just got back from a great walk outdoors. It was -10 this morning, although not quite as cold now. I understand it's to fall to -20 this week, that should make things interesting!

Hi Snowy and Rhumba: yesterday it started snowing hard here "way on down south, London Town". My wife and I were going to a Stewart Lee show (his touring gig is; "If you want a milder comedian please ask for one"...) and we kinda slipped and skated our way to the theatre on very icy pavements. By the time we came out most of it had melted to slush, though.

Still, a couple of miles south of the centre it is just that degree or two colder and we still have a nice blanket of snow this morning. Pretty... :D

Cheers - C

In Ireland we have a little snow and the country is nearly at a standstill. The muppets who are our government are unable to solve any crisis

25 degrees and dropping to the teens in Fort Worth, TX. It is supposed to be very cold and windy for the next three days. Normal high for this time of year is 53 degrees.

Sad to say that basic problem solving is typically not a politicians strength....

Reportedly -22C / -7.6F in parts of Scotland last night. Which they are telling us is colder than the South Pole at this time of year. Well, it's summertime down there, after all...

Cheers - C

You're right enough Ceri, 22 below last night. I've never felt so cold in my entire life, and it's time to take you know who out for his lunchtime run  Freezing fog doesn't help either, the car is staying in the drive way today.

80% chance of light snow, have only had a dusting so far, little accumulation expected. Overcast, 18 °F (-8 °C)

Not too shabby for a New England winter day! 8)

Hey Ceri, you'll have to put extra woollies on, they say some really bleak stuff headed for the southeast this weekend.
Got as low as -18C in parts of Manchester last night, gonna be a cold one tonight as well.
Staying in playing my axe.
