Man, I hate winter. But I don't think I could ever live somewhere like California because nothing beats a cold, crisp, winter night's sky for stargazers like me.

Edit: Typo
Great queen pic but you should find a smaller one

I've had some good results this weekend resizing pics in photoshop to fit a picture frame. I'm sure there are other softwares that could do the same and save the effort of finding another pic. I too liked the pic and have started thinking I should add one for myself. Maybe one of my guitars or Shakira or Christina Applegate (she twittered she is learning to play guitar).

Hey everyone - new to posting but been watching on and off for a year or so.
About 26 celsius (approx 80 F) here and wife and kids about to head off to beach.
Me - mostly flat on my back after recent back surgery - so plenty of time to browse the forum on the laptop.
This is a great forum - looking forward to taking part in it a bit more.

Hey Snowy and everyone,

It's Raining.......A good, solid, Vancouver rain. It's about 5 C. Cold, but not quite cold enough for fresh snow in the local mountains. Just cancelled a snowshoing hike because of it.

I am jealous of all that have snow, (like we did last Christmas), and jealous of all that are in a tropical climate. :? :? Oh well! This too shall pass.

Take care all, Gridlok 8)

I got my driveway (and several others) and my paths around my property all cleaned out and while watching football this afternoon we've gotten at least 2" more snow. :?

And the Patriots lost! :?

Is there no justice in this life? :?

High 70's with a light breeze. I experienced snowy/cold winters as a kid - I lived in northern Illinois right off Lake Michigan. I prefer warm! Besides, living in the San Diego area I can still get up to the local mountains & throw a snowball.

Some snow this week-end temps around 20, wind gusts around 30, so -10 wind chill. Set the G Dec30 to Surfs Up! and jammed with The Beach Boys. Mind over matter and some good practie time too.

Fun,fun,fun 8)

The wind finally appears to be dying down so its not quite as cold but the temp. still feels like a smack in the face when you first walk outside.
