It's 50 and raining here in sunny south Florida predicted to drop to 30 by tomorrow as the southeast gets hit with an Artic blast causing snow in Georgia, North Carolina and even New Orleans with temps in the 20s.

Wish I could go to the Keys for the next month. That's worth 10 degrees warmer.

Took the dog for a real hike today, about 5 or 6 miles. So I thought I'd take the iPod for some sounds, I was out about 20 minutes and the iPod stopped playing. I knew the battery was fully charged, so couldn't figure it out. Got back home and discoved it was frozen

We had a long, hot, humid autumn. Unseasonably warm for November and December. Now it's 2:30p on a January afternoon, the temp has gotten up to only 44°F and it appears we won't reach our forecasted high of 52°F.

I heard it snowed in central Florida this morning!!!

We had a low of 19 last night. Our pipes froze. I had to keep warm using beach towels, how's that for irony.

It's definately the coldest I can ever remember. I expected the teens to spell instant frostbite to anyone who stepped outside, but I'm actually enjoying it. :D In fact, it's in the 30s now and I'm going to go take a walk.

Still 19 degrees now, but I did thaw my pipes (without bursting them) yesterday. I now have them all insulated and the house wrapped. It sits up on pillars!! :)
