A public forum that you have the priveledge to use. Not a right to use. That's why they post the rules and guidelines and you agree to them when signing up.

Well, I'm sorry, but have you looked at the state America's in right now....? I say free speech has transformed into "speech that is politically correct". America has changed so much, and mostly for the worse, in my opinion, from when our Founding Fathers helped make this country independent.

Sorry.

Just had to say that.

and besides a few questionable words that i may have used, what is your point? it does not say what words are prohibited, and the so-called censor let it thru.

The point is calling anyone a jerk or $@!&#*% is not proper conduct.

Good point, I'm guilty of that too. But the fact is you came here today with seemingly only intentions of aggravating and belittling forum members and I suspect the moderator will take action soon.

What, a guy can't say Gibsons are better than Fenders? There's no need to argue amongst each other over trite meaningless statements such as this one, no matter how untrue it is. Gibsons are not better than Fenders, nor vice versa, rather they are both excellent instruments in their own right. What determines which one is better is in the hands of the player. >_>

big deal. go buy a gibson its better anyway. your paying for the fender name on a subpar guitar.

in the hands of a player, post a vid of you playing anything, I like talk too but action speaks louder, waiting.

So, getting back to the topic at hand.....

How many of my forum brothers and sisters will decide to buy an Amer. Strat or Tele due to the recent price drop? Is this lower price going to spur you to buy?

I have to say no to this one; however,I would like to see the MIM models come down a bit.

I am more likely to buy another Highway 1 Stratocaster or a MIM Standard with the Floyd Rose Tremolo rather than an American Standard. Now if that price on the American Standard gets to $799, then I will jump on it fast. I am not a professional player, I just do not see the sense paying high prices for guitars (at this time). Music is not my bread and butter and I have other things I need to spend my money on right now (like getting ready to send my son off to college).
