so last nite me and CC were talkin on facebook and thought it would be really cool if there was a way for all of us Loungers to get together and jam. It got me thinkin' if there was any chance of this happenin'. Like a convention for all of us to jam. Would be pretty cool if it could happen

Sounds cool I think that it can be like a webcast...

It would either be completely awesome or suck a lot.

Interesting concept -- like the world's largest Webex conference only a lot more fun!

It would probably be more successful to do this kind of thing smaller groups, like areas of the country, by states, etc.

A "group jam" of all the forum members would probably very quickly become "noise."

I was at a really huge jam once. It sucked. Mud and chaos. Mud and chaos.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Yeah, do it by region would be easier, however the problem i can forsee it that if we all turn up and show up there, jam ready, Then we see that only us guitarists turn up. (And which ever of us sing)

No drummers and only like, one bassist.

I would promise to play bass, leave my strat at home and save my pride.

But if there's 50 guitars and one bass I would need one bitchin' huge amp to hold up volume wise.

I use skype to jam with friends from around the world, it's better than you might think. I hope this idea catches on, it would be cool to connect with members from here.
