I always read Ceri's posts, love his builds especially the current one and enjoyed his tshirt photos. Very innovative flying pig picture...

I also enjoyed Niki's photo essay of the torched strat...

Good grief, my ears are burning! Thank you kindly.

The guilty truth is I'm a very light drinker, yet the thread that had the most effect on my life in 2009 was russianracehorse's IN PRAISE OF GREAT BEER. I got enthusiastically involved in that one and made many excellent new discoveries, both locally and from around the world.

Also, Miami Mike really has a talent for starting popular threads, doesn't he? I continue to get so much out of the YOUTUBE thread in particular.

Thank you!

8) - C

Ceri, you're too kind and modest. Perhaps my little thread could compete in the non-guitar category, but I believe the best Fender thread of 2009 is (the envelope, please)...

Saving a Trash Body!

This thread had it all: drama, humor, suspense, redemption, revenge, and educational value. Truly a work of genius.

Honorable mention goes to Touching Up Nikininja's Body. Since this thread is not yet complete, this may be the early favorite for best thread of 2010. Only time will tell...

Thanks, Ceri, for fascinating threads and terrific input across the board. You're my pick for Forum MVP! 8)
